Psychosocial Hazard Maturity Review

Every Data Point is a Human Story Your

Workforce is Living Right Now

The Employee Experience When Psychosocial Hazards Exist

When psychosocial hazards are present, employees often feel unsafe speaking up, uncertain about expectations, and disconnected from leadership. Workloads may feel unmanageable, change feels chaotic, and policies seem like words on paper rather than protections they can trust. Over time, this leads to stress, anxiety, and burnout, with many employees choosing silence, disengagement, or leaving altogether. For organizations, these lived experiences turn into high turnover, safety risks, and eroded trust in leadership.

Psychosocial Maturity Review

The Psychosocial Maturity Review is a fixed 30-day package that gives your organization a clear starting point for understanding psychosocial risk. It is a high-level review measured against TeamsynerG’s Whole-Person Safety defined indicators, providing clarity on where risks may exist and how mature your current workplace environment, practices and behaviours are in addressing them.

What we do

The review is conducted virtually, using our whole-Person Safety psychosocial maturity framework and indicators. We focus on what matters most, providing a structured snapshot without pulling leaders into lengthy consulting cycles. As part of the process, we include a 90-minute psychosocial safety awareness session for selected stakeholders to provide context and support the understanding and shared language around risk and responsibility.

What you get

You receive a baseline view of your organization’s psychosocial maturity: where risks may live, where strengths exist, and where gaps will need attention. This baseline can stand on its own as a planning tool or act as the foundation for deeper assessments and strategies, including our Whole-Person Safety system.

Signs Psychosocial Hazards May Exist in Your Organization

  • Turnover rates are exceeding healthy industry benchmarks.
  • Sick leave and absenteeism are climbing, with stress or burnout as common reasons.
  • Short-term disability claims tied to mental health (stress, anxiety, depression) are rising.
  • Employee engagement scores sit below healthy level, signaling low trust and commitment.
  • Meetings are marked by silence; employees hesitate to speak up or challenge ideas.
  • Near misses and safety concerns are not being raised, creating hidden risks.
  • Younger employees are leaving or declining offers, citing culture and psychological safety.
